ABOUT ME

Influenced by her extensive background as a fashion and costume designer for theatre and performance, Angela is focused on theatrical exhibitions that offer an immersive experience to the visitors. Her curatorial approach shows a particular interest in exhibition design and using didactic techniques being applied to the museum.

Angela studied Design and Management of Fashion and History of Art in Spain. Later she took her studies further by pursuing a MA in Curating and Collections at Chelsea College of Arts in London. She has co-curated a number of exhibitions of commissioned contemporary art as well as archival objects and collections.

Furthermore, Angela has more than 2 years of experience as Registrar and Administrator in an International School of English, where she is also responsible for running and planing social programme activities.

As a costume designer and maker, she is very experienced in the process of creating fashion, having extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of sewing techniques, textiles and millinery.

Additionally, Angela is a painter specialising in watercolours and ink, often taking inspiration from vintage fashion photography.
